Obituary of Robert Moeckel
Robert Anthony Moeckel, 73, of Port St. Lucie, died March 9, 2014 at the Fort Pierce Healthcare Center, Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Galveston, TX and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 10 years, having moved from Miami. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had worked as a reservation agent for National and Pan American Airlines. In addition, he was a tax preparer and a newspaper reporter for the Columbus Ohio Citizen Journal.
He is survived by his wife, Trudy Harangozo of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Katherine Confessore of Ft. Lauderdale; son, Todd Moeckel of Inverness; daughter, Heather Moeckel Guerra of Canton, GA; brother, Jim Moeckel of Ohio; sister, Patricia Jo McCaleb of Brandenton; brother, William Moeckel of Ohio; brother, Frank Moeckel of Ohio; sister, Jill Parsons of Ohio; grandchildren, Madison Moeckel, Zachary Guerra, Amanda Guerra, Alyssa Donfessore and Krista Confessore; and his former wife, Mildred Moeckel of Miami. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judith Ann VanSant in August 2013.
