Obituary of Robert Pedersen
Robert W. Pedersen (Pete) of Palm City, 58, died unexpectedly June 15, 2013 at Martin Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Worcester, MA and grew up in New Jersey. Pete came to Florida in 1973 because he didn't want summer to ever end.
He was Founder and President of Pedersen Lathing and Plastering as well as Pedersen Properties. Pete was an avid fisherman, regularly fishing in the Bahamas, Costa Rica and New Zealand. He had many passions including cooking, collecting artwork, golden retrievers and sunrises over the ocean.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Pedersen and children Brandy and Dustin Millet; his father, Carl R. Pedersen of Williamsport, MD; his mother, Anne Marie (Ahern) Pedersen of Stuart, FL; sister, Nancy Beckwith of Groton, CT; brother, Kevin Pedersen and wife Janet of Beverly, MA; sister Melissa Pedersen of Highlands, NJ; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Pedersen.
