Obituary of Robert Pinder
Age 89, longtime resident of Palm City, FL died at his residence on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Mr. Pinder was born on November 10, 1918 in Cherokee Sound, Abaco Bahamas, to Robert Bruce and Flossie Pinder. He was of Methodist faith and was a longtime area Nurseryman who founded Pinders Nursery in Palm City, FL. Mr. Pinder was predeceased by his wife Annie E. Pinder in 1984 and also a brother, Whitney Pinder in 2006.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna E. Rees of Palm City, FL, 3 sons; Robert S. Pinder of Palm City, FL, Kahart M. Pinder of Jensen Beach, FL and Marvin D. Pinder of Palm City, FL, 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandson. Also surviving is a sister Olive Pinder of Abaco, Bahamas.
Funeral Services will be private to the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL, 33409. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com
