Obituary of Robert Putman
Robert L. Putman, 78, of Palm City, died July 23, 2013 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart. He was born in Prescott, Ontario, Canada. He moved to the United States in 1954, and had been a resident of Palm City since 1987, coming from Connecticut. He graduated from Clarkson College of Technology in Pottsdam, NY, with a Bachelor's Degree, and from Cornell University, with a Master's Degree. He was an engineer at Pratt Whitney before retirement. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Putman of Palm City; son, Timothy Putman of Hartford, CT; Jill Putman of St. Petersburg, FL; and one granddaughter, Sophia Putman of St. Petersburg.
Memorial service: 1:00PM, Monday, July 29, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
A foundation will be set up for memorial contributions, to be announced.
