Obituary of Robert Seaman
Robert M. Seaman, 76, of Palm City, FL, died May 22, 2013 at Martin Medical Center, Stuart.
Born in Islip, New York, he had been a resident of Palm City for 28 years, coming from Port Washington, New York.
He served in the U.S. Army as a linguist specializing in Russian.
He was a computer programmer for almost 50 years and co-owner of Seaman Brokerage Systems LLC. He also was an accomplished pianist, playing at venues such as Piper's Landing, Sandhill Cove, both in Palm City and numerous social and civic events.
Survivors include sons, Edward M. Seaman of Palm City and James D'Altorio of Tampa, Florida; a daughter, Lynn Sjurset of Warren, New Jersey; a brother Donald Seaman of Wantagh, New York; his companion, Margaret Vogel of Palm City; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Seaman.
