Obituary of Robert Winnik

Robert Evan Winnik, 53, of Palm City, died January 8, 2013, at the Martin Medical Center, Stuart.

Born in Forest Hills, New York, he had been a resident of the Palm City for 4 years, coming from Lake Worth, Florida. He moved to Florida from Maspeth, New York.

He had been a Detective with the Florida State Department of Insurance Fraud, where he worked for 6 years. He had retired as a detective from the New York Police Department after 20 years. He was a member of the NYCPBA.

Survivors include his wife, Helena Winnik; a daughter, Raine Winnik; a son, Travis Winnik all of Palm City and a brother, Steven Winnik of Lake Worth. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Joan Winnik.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on January 12, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a service.
