Obituary of Roger Fanti
Roger Fanti, Sr., 80, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he moved to Port St. Lucie in 1985 from Staten Island, NY.
He was a retired motor vehicle operator for New York City Police Department and was a member of the 10-13 Club.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a Christian, a charter member of Highpoint Community Church in Port St. Lucie, and active in Prison Ministry.
Survivors include his wife, Anisette Fanti of Port St. Lucie; sons, Roger Fanti, Jr. of Dandridge, TN; Raymond Fanti of Tampa, FL; daughter, Susan Vanden-Heuvel of Staten Island, FL; 11 grandchildren.
Services: Calling hours will be 9 AM to 11 AM, Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Services will begin at 11 AM, with Pastor Mark Carrara officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park with military honors provided by the United States Army.
