Obituary of Ronald Amend
Dr. Ronald L. Amend, 73, died Jan. 6, 2008, at his residence.
He was born in Chicago and lived in Port St. Lucie and the Florida area for the past eight years, coming from his birth place.
He was a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, where he received his PH.D., and later became the Dean of History.
He taught in the Evanston School District for 30 years.
Survivors include his life companion, William C. White of Port St. Lucie; and brother, George Amend of Naples.
SERVICES: Inurnment services will be at 2:30 pm March 15 at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Palm City. Arrangements are by Forest Hills Funeral H ome, Palm City. A guest book may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com.
