Molluzzo, Ronald S., 78, of Palm City, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, after a long illness.
Ronald was born on July 21, 1944 in The Bronx, New York to Carmine and Theresa Molluzzo. After graduating from the Bronx High School of Science in 1961, Ronald went off to Georgetown University for pre-med studies, completing it in Columbia University. In 1967, Ronald studied medicine abroad in Italy at the Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, graduating in 1972. He completed his training in internal medicine in Brooklyn, New York, and Bridgeport Connecticut.
In 1976, he moved down to Florida to continue his practice in medicine at North Broward Medical Center in Deerfield Beach. He was also a clinical assistant professor of medicine at Nova Southeastern University for several years. He finally retired from his practice in 2005 to Lighthouse Point, Florida, where he would remain until 2012, when he moved up with his family to Palm City, Florida. Throughout his life, Ronald loved to travel, and was also an avid sportsman, fishing and diving all around Florida, the Caribbean, Mexico, and South America, and even traveling all across Western Europe on a motorcycle in the 60's and 70's. In 1999, he went to Russia, where he met his wife Julia in the city of St. Petersburg. They got married in the year 2000, and three years later, their son Marcello was born.
He is survived by his only son, Marcello Molluzzo, and his wife of 23 years, Julia Molluzzo. He also had a close relationship with Julia's family, who loved him and will miss him dearly.
Ronald will be missed by his family and friends, but there is also joy and peace in knowing that he is finally at rest in the loving hands of our Lord Jesus Christ.
"Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one
