Obituary of Ronald Turba

Ronald "Ron" E. Turba, 66, of Port St. Lucie and Cosby, TN, died September 9, 2011 at his daughter's residence in Port St. Lucie. He was born in Bellmore, NY and had moved to the Treasure Coast in 1971 from his birthplace. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served 1965-1967 with a tour in Germany. He had worked for Coca - Cola and as a lineman and store keeper for FP&L. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres in Jensen Beach and the Gents Auto Club in NY.

He is survived by his daughter, Tara Lucas of Port St. Lucie; sons, Ronnie Turba of Port St. Lucie and Bobby Turba of Middlesboro, KY; brother, John Kowalsky of Bellmore, NY; son in law, Rick Lucas of Port St. Lucie; daughter in laws, Terri Turba of Port St. Lucie and Mindy Turba of Middlesboro, KY; brother in law, Ronnie Gann of Palm City and sister in law, Sallyann Gann of Palm City; 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Visitation: 11:30 - 1:30PM, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City chapel

Funeral Service will follow immediately at 1:30PM in the Chapel.

Entombment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

Memorial contributions may be given to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian ST., Stuart, FL 34997, in Ronald's memory.
