Obituary of Rose Cherico-Mcgee

Rose Marie Cherico-McGee, 80, died Sept. 3, 2007, at her home. She lived in Palm City for 15 years, coming from New York City. Before retirement, she was an office manager in a doctor's office in New York City for 37 years. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Stuart Sunshine Chapter of Deborah Hospital Foundation. She volunteered at the Martin Memorial Medical Center Chaplain's office in Stuart and with the parking enforcement office of Martin County Sheriff's Dept. She was active with the Pine Ridge Condominium Association. Survivors include her son, Alfred G. McGee of Stuart; sister, Marie Goldrich of Manalapan, N.J.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, David McGee. Memorial contributions may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, Stuart Sunshine Chapter, 1485 S.W. Silver Pine Way, Bldg. 107H-1, Palm City, FL 34990. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 7 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
