Rosemary Burke

April 27, 1934 - July 22, 2022

Rosemary Burke , 88, a resident of Ocean Breeze Florida and former resident of Scranton Pennsylvania passed away Friday, July 22, 2022 surrounded by family members at the Cleveland Clinic/Martin Health in Stuart, Florida.

She was born in Scranton Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Andrew Butsko and Mary Butsko , and is the widow of the late Raymond Burke. Sh e graduated from West Scranton H igh School . She was employed by General Electric and the Anemostat while r esiding in Scranton . She is a former member of the First United Church o f Christ in Scranton Pennsylvania and most recently a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stuart, Florida.

She is survived by her son Michael Burke and his wife Susie B urke, Ocean breeze Florida. She was the loving and proud grandmother of five grandchildren ; Michael Burk e, Matthew Burke, Becky Burke, Mitchel B urke and Melissa Burke ; three great grandchildren; Gray Mitchell , Hayes Mitchell and Rosemary Burke. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Andrew and sister Irene.

Rosemary was a loving and kind person. She dearly loved her family and very much enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for them. She loved animals and enjoyed working in the garden. She will be dearly missed by all .

A funeral mass will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church , Saturday August 13, 2022 at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1200 SE 10 th St reet, Stuart, FL 34996
