Obituary of Roy Burton
Roy Walker Burton, Jr., 88, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died February 17, 2010 at St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Born in Ingleside, West Virginia, he had lived in Port St. Lucie for 27 years coming from Elmwood Park, Illinois.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy Sea Bees.
Before retiring he was a service technician with Montgomery Ward, in Rosemont, Illinois.
Survivors include nieces Phyllis B. Thompson of Princeton, West Virginia and Karen Marzano of Lemont, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by his wife of Helen Burton in 1990.
Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park at a later date with military honors.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel
