Roy F. Penfield, 88, died April 7, 2016 at the Hay-Mederia Hospice House in Stuart, Florida
He was born in Springfield, Mass. and moved to Florida with his brother Alfred in 1955. He and his deceased wife Ruth lived in Palm City for over 25 years, coming from Boca Raton.
Before retiring he was a Zoning and Codes Inspector for the City of Miami Beach. Roy was a World War II US Navy Veteran. He loved photography and was an amateur photographer most of his life.
He is survived by his son, John Ferretti, Palm City. He is now joyously reunited with his wife Ruth and his siblings George, James, Alfred, Elfrieda, Dorcas, Barbara and Marjorie.
