Obituary of Rudolf McKenzie

Rudolf G. McKenzie, 90, of Port St. Lucie, passed away September 19, 2014 at Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie. He was born January 25, 1924 in Cuba to George McKenzie and Gatilda Brown. He came to the United States in 1958, from Jamaica, West Indies, settling in New York. In 1989 he retired from the City of New York, having worked as a bridge operator, and moved to Port St. Lucie.

He is survived by his Wife of 50 years, Gloria McKenzie of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Sheema McKenzie of Port St. Lucie; son, Owen McKenzie of Queens, NY; grandchildren, Adia Gibson and A'Mara McKenzie; great grandchildren, Ezra Gibson, Honor McKenzie-Blake and Aryanna Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his brother, George McKenzie and Sister, Marie Brown.

Visitation: 10:30AM - 11:00AM, Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the First Congregational Church in Port St. Lucie.

Funeral service following at 11:00AM in the Church.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
