Obituary of Russell Shelto

Russell C. Shelto, 82, if Stuart, FL passed away June 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Hartford, CT and had been a resident of Stuart since 1982, having moved from Windsor Locks, CT. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having serviced during the Korean War as a Staff Sergeant and a flight engineer on a B-29 Bomber. He retired as a Sergeant from the Windsor Locks Police Department. He was of the Protestant faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Jill Shelto Sacccente of Windsor Locks, CT; sons, Todd Shelto (Kathy) of Lutz, FL and Kent Shelto of Stuart, FL; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith in 2011; sister, Mary Keenan; brothers, Anthony Shelto and Robert Shelto.

A graveside service will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, June 22 in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
