Ruth Oster, 85, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 in Brookhaven Memorial Hospital in Patchogue, NY.
Born in New York City, NY, she moved to Medford, NY in June 2007 from Jensen Beach, FL; she had lived in Palm City prior to Jensen Beach.
She was a retired workmens comp insurance examiner.
She was of the Jewish faith.
Survivors include her sons, Joel Oster of North Haledon, NJ and Leonard Oster of Stuart, FL; daughter, Babette Israel of Holbrook, NY; and six grandchildren.
Services: Graveside services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, October 12, 2007 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Home. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com.
