Obituary of Salvatore Rizzotto

SALVATORE RIZZOTTO, age 77 of Stuart, Florida died on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Stuart, Florida. Mr. Rizzotto was born on October 26, 1930 in Corleone, Sicily, Italy and came to New York City on June 19, 1948. Mr. Rizzotto resided in New York City and Larchmont, NY before coming to Stuart, FL in 1971. He worked in the building and construction industry for many years as he owned and operated County Plastering Co. Inc. in this area since 1971. Mr. Rizzotto was a member of the Plasterers Local # 60, St. Josephs Catholic Church of Stuart, FL and was a founder of the local Stuart Lodge# 2337 of The Sons of Italy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Jean (DAcquisto) Rizzotto of Stuart, FL, three sons, John Lawrence (Daina) Rizzotto, Sal Michael (Ruby) Rizzotto and Robert Alan (Barbara) Rizzotto, all of Stuart, FL. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, three brothers, one sister and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 1200 E. 10th. Street, Stuart, FL. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Funeral Hoome, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the American Lung Association, 2701 N. Australian Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407-9923.
