Obituary of Sandra Caparelli

Sandra Caparelli, 72, of Palm City, died October 3, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. She was born at Morningside Women's Hospital in New York City, NY on June 27, 1940 to Mary C. Mulvany and Mearit Henry Coughlin. On June 1, 1958, she married the love of her life, Frank Joseph Caparelli, for 54 years of wedded bliss. She was an active member of the Stuart and Palm City communities since 1976. Her love and passion for both artistic and social causes saw her involvement with the Barn Theatre, MADD, Hibiscus House, Sons of Italy and Democratic Club of Martin County. Sandi channeled her creative side with businesses in Interior and Exterior Landscaping before becoming a realtor for Century 21, Remax and others until her retirement.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Frank Caparelli of Stuart; daughters, Deborah Alvord of Stuart and Cathleen Caparelli of Stuart; sons, Michael Caparelli of Los Angeles and Kenneth Caparelli of Los Angeles; granddaughters, Jessica and Brittany Alvord; brother Richard Coughlin of Port St. Lucie, FL.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00PM, Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

Funeral Service: 1:00PM, Monday, October 8, 2012 at the funeral home chapel.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, following the service.
