Sean P. McGlynn, 47, of Palm City, FL, passed away on July 11, 2016 surrounded by family and friends.

Born in Ann Arbor, MI, he was raised in Stuart, FL. After retiring from the United States Air Force as a pilot he chose to return to the Stuart area to continue raising his children.

Sean served his country without expecting anything in return. He loved his children, wife, parents, brother and friends without limits and gave of himself with everything he did. He taught everyone who knew him much about putting others before self, laughing every day, and what really matters each day.

Sean was a proud Florida State University alumnus and Seminole fan.

He is survived by his wife Katie McGlynn; his son, Connor McGlynn; his daughter, Megan McGlynn; his parents, Walter and Susan McGlynn, his sister-in-law, Shari McGlynn, and his brother, Don McGlynn, all of Palm City, FL

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home Palm City, FL with a Vigil Prayer Service at 6:15 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.

Following mass on Saturday, there will be a Celebration of Life gathering in Sean's honor at Monarch Country Club, 1801 Monarch Club Drive, Palm City, FL 34990.

Sean created many wonderful memories with his family. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Sean, the family asks that you create special memories for your loved ones.
