Sharon Verone Ingrid Nedrick , affectionately, known as Carol, was born October 28, 1956 in the C aribbean, Jamaica West Indies, the eldest girl of five children to Lloyd and Mary Nedrick (nee Thomas). As a young girl of twelve years old, she was a good student but exhibited many other talents including but not limited to dancing, cooking, crochet, hair stylist and a compassionate natu re. She was quick tempered but just as quick to diligently assist others toward a common goal.
At the age of fifteen, her family migrated to the United States of America to seek a better life. She attended and graduated from Flushing High School where she developed a love of learning. Throughout her teenage years, she continued to established proven culinary skills, specifically in Jamaican cuisine.
