Stanford R. Johnson, 70, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, Fort Pierce, Florida. Born in North Eleuthera Bahamas to Samuel and Freeda Johnson he lived most of his life in Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Stanford was a passionate man whom loved to preach the word of God no matter where he was. He enjoyed attending church, traveling, cooking, fishing and working outdoors. Throughout his career Stanford worked as a professional chef as well in the agriculture industry for Forbes Citrus, Fort Pierce.

Stanford, was extremely loving and proud of his family, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was always there to help friends and those in need. Stanford was an adoring father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.

Stanford is survived by his wife of 46 years Ettamae Johnson of Port St. Lucie; his sons, Marvin McDonald and his wife Iris of Lehigh Acres, FL, Demetrius Johnson and his companion, Adrenea Brown of Lawton, OK. Tavares Johnson and his wife Shanice and Michael Johnson and his wife Lakesh all of Port St Lucie; his step children, Raquel McDonald, Darron McDonald and his wife Elaine, Fred McDonald and his wife Shavone and Mark Johnson all of the Bahamas; grandchildren, Marshae, Tattiana, Alexandria, Aaron, Izaac, Ishmael, Atheana, Audrena, Triniti, Makaylah, Kaleah, Rashan, Ezrica, Eric, Darreanne, Darriell, Darronique, Delmar, Da'Kari, Darion, Zhane, Fredric Jr., Shakim and great grand-children Nevayah, Deshawn, Semaj; brothers, Ronald Johnson and Bernard Johnson; sisters, Louise McDonald and Brendalee Neilly; closest cousin Addision Jolly as well as his many loving aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, Florida 34990. There will be a service at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
