Obituary of Stanley Kaczynski

Stanley John Kaczynski, 88, of Stuart, Florida, died September 12, 2010 at his home.

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a resident of Palm City and Stuart coming from North Haven, Connecticut.

During World War II he served in the U.S. Army.

Before retiring he was a building contractor for many years, as owner of SK Construction. He also was former owner of North Haven Firestone and North Haven NAPA.

He attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City and was a former member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, North Haven and the Branford Yacht Club, Connecticut. He also was a member of the Stuart-Jensen Lodge 1870 BPO Elks.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Helen M. Kaczynski of Stuart; sons Ronald S. Kaczynski of Palm City, Florida and James R. Kaczynski of Hamden, Connecticut; a daughter Nancy Budd of Costa Rica; sisters, Elizabeth Markowski of Hamden, Genevieve Simione of North Haven; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 9 siblings.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on September 16, 2010 and from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on September 17, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on September 17, 2010 Interment will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City with military honors provided by the U.S. Army.
