Obituary of Stella Amendola

Stella R. Amendola, 98, of Stuart, died September 23, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. She was born in Bracebridge, Canada, and moved to the United States, 84 years ago. She has been a resident of Stuart for 40 years. She had been a co-owner and operator of Amendola's Florist in Franklin Square in New York. After moving to Florida, she was a Realtor for Coldwell Banker in Stuart and a receptionist at Sincerely Yours Beauty Salon in Jensen Beach.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Amendola of Stuart; sons, Harry Amendola III of Middleburg, NY, Richard Amendola of Tryon, NC and Robert Amendola of Long Island, NY; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a sister, Katherine Urkew of Hilton, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Amendola.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM, Monday, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel. Entombment is in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
