Stephanie A. Redditt-Yates, wife of Donald Yates, passed away on October 13, 2023, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born May 23, 1978, daughter of Stephen Redditt and Jeannie (Sprott) Redditt. She was a native of Martin County, FL.

Stephanie received a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Florida Atlantic University and began a lifelong devotion to education. She later earned a Masters in Education from FAU, as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership and Administration from American College of Education.

She held several positions within the Florida Department of Education prior to moving to Denver, Colorado. In Colorado, she continued her commitment to youth education, serving in several administrative positions. She most recently was Director of Federal Programming and Accountability in Adams County, CO.

Friends, family, and colleagues will remember her by her exuberant smile, love for dogs, and take-charge attitude. She and her husband enjoyed hiking the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

She is pre-deceased by her grandparents Morgan Sprott Sr. & Nell (Moore) Sprott and William "Bill" Redditt & Virginia Redditt.

In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves behind an uncle James (Sandra) Redditt, her mother- and father-in-law Brad & Shirley Yates, brother-in-law JB Yates, as well as many cousins.

Outside of Florida, she is especially remembered by her extended South Carolina family, and her dear friends in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Georgia.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on October 18, 2023 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Murphy Rd, Palm City. Mr. Mark Gibson will officiate.
