Obituary of Stephen Barfield

Stephen Keith Barfield, 52, of Palm City, Florida, died September 17, 2012 at Martin Medical Center, Stuart.

Born in Pelham, Georgia, he had been a resident of Martin County for over 50 years coming from his birthplace. He had attended Martin County High School.

He was the Food Service Assistant Manager at the Martin County Sheriff's Office Jail, Stuart.

Survivors include his wife of 4 years, Katherine Barfield of Palm City; a stepson, James Lavine of Illinois; sisters, Frankie Tullos, Austin, Texas, Connie Whitaker of Indiantown, Florida, Vickie Jonseck, Lake Worth, Florida and Marilyn Noel of Cocoa, Florida and brothers, Ronald Barfield of Madison, Florida, Danny Barfield of Titusville, Florida and Timmy Barfield of Okeechobee, Florida. He was preceded in death by a sister Sonia Waldron and a brother Gerald Barfield.

SERVICES: There will be a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM on September 21, 2012 at the Family Worship Center, Indiantown.
