With profound sorrow we announce the passing of Sterling Wright Tyndall, a cherished father, grandad,and husband, on May 27,2024.

Born on March 10, 1933, Sterling lived a life marked by faith, family, love and the charitable generosity that touched the lives of many. Sterling proudly served in the United States Navy. He continued to give back to the community by volunteering at First United Methodist Church of Stuart, most notably running the Manna Kitchen for over a decade and donating blood consistently for over five decades.

Sterling was a loving father of three children, David Tyndall, Steve Tyndall and Linda Tyndall Walsh. He was a beloved grandad to Linda's three children AshleyAna, Thomas Sterling, and Chase Alexander. And a devoted husband to his wife JoAnn.
Sterling took immense pride in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. He instilled in all of them the principles he held dear in life. A pillar of strength, kindness and dependability. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or to provide a listening ear. Sterling's humor, warm smile and infectious laugh brightened others' days. Sterling was passionate about enjoying the outdoors, swimming and body surfing in the ocean with his children and grandchildren. He was passionate about his hobbies tennis and bowling. He loved sports, and most dear to him, the years he spent taking his three children to the Dolphin games in the 70's.
Sterling Wright Tyndall's departure from this world leaves a void that cannot be filled. However, the love and values he instilled will continue to guide and inspire. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Memorial services will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, at First United Methodist Church,
1500 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart, FL with Rev. Jeff Bennett officiating. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum Palm City, FL.
