Obituary of Teresa Scharr
Teresa G. Scharr of Port St. Lucie, died July 2, 2010 at St. Lucie Medical Center. She was born in Bonefro, Italy and moved to the USA in 1927. She was married April 20, 1952 to Arthur C. Scharr in Mt. Vernon, NY. She had been a resident of the Treasure Coast for 24 years, having moved from Hollywood, FL. She attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, and she was a resident of Harbor Place at Port St. Lucie - Independent Living.
She is survived by her daughters, Carrie Scharr Dunlap and her husband Robert Dunlap of Charlotte, NC and Christine Ballard and her husband Ret. USAF Lt. Col. David Ballard of Key West, FL; grandsons, Matthew and Scott Dunlap both of Charlotte, NC; a brother and his wife, Mr & Mrs. Louis Giuliano of Port St. Lucie, FL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur C. Scharr.
Service: 1:00PM, Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
