Terrence "Terry" Paul Roensch, 67, of Port Saint Lucie, FL went home to be with the Lord on June 26, 2020. He was born August 1, 1952, in Milwaukie, Wisconsin to Arthur and Muriel Roensch. He grew up in Wisconsin where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities with several lifelong friends. In 1968, Terry moved to Largo, Florida where he met the love of his life, Judy. He enlisted in United States Navy in June 1971. Terry deployed to the Mediterranean on the USS Seattle and to the Vietnam War on the USS Franklin D Roosevelt. During his service, Terry and Judy were married on December 22,1972 establishing their life together and later raising 3 children. Terry retired from the navy in 1974, returning to Publix Supermarket where he later became the bakery manager and assisted with the opening of several new stores. He retired after 20 years from Publix Supermarket in 1988 to follow his new dream of driving a semi-truck cross county. Terry later retired in 2010 with 22 years driving experience with Crete Carrier. He greatly enjoyed many years of travel, spending time with family and friends, and became a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Bernadette's.

Terry will be grievously missed and survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy; his 3 children & their spouses: Kimberly & Charles Briggs, Joseph & Khristina Roensch, and Christopher Roensch; his 3 sisters: Phyllis, Carla, & Cynthia; his 6 grandchildren: Nathaniel, Kayla, Caira, Elijah, Wyatt, and Bou; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be scheduled on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 as follows: Viewing at 10 am & Mass at 11 am at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church (350 NW California Blvd, Port St Lucie, FL 34986) and Laid to Rest at 1 pm at Forest Hill Memorial Park (2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 33490). All are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry's life. The family would like to thank Treasure Coast Hospice & St Lucie Medical Center for the loving care of our beloved over the past few weeks. The family would also like to extend a special thanks to St. Bernadette's Catholic Church for their blessings, prayers, and love during this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St Bernadette's in memory of Terry.
