Obituary of Theodore LeTure

Father Theodore J. LeTure, 86, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died July 3, 2011 at the Horizon Bay Assisted Living, Port St. Lucie.

Born in New York, New York, he lived in Port St. Lucie for 16 years, coming from Valley Stream, New York.

He was a Roman Catholic Priest for over 62 years. He graduated from Mount St. Mary's Seminary, Emmetsburg, Maryland. Most recently he was affiliated with St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. He was Pastor Emeritus of Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Valley Stream, New York. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. He had been a volunteer fireman in Valley Stream and was a chaplain with the Port St. Lucie Police Department.

He is survived by friend, Audrey DePaola of Port St. Lucie.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on July 8, 2011, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel and also from 10:30 to 11:00 AM on July 9 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church immediately followed at 11:00 AM by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, West Palm Beach, Florida.
