Theresa "Therese" Veronica Keenan Martin passed away on February 24, 2021, in Jensen Beach, Florida. She was ninety-four years old at the time of her passing.

Therese was born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts. Therese was predeceased by her parents, Ida Leahy, and George T. Keenan; sisters, Marie Ferranti, Katherine Pagano, Dorothy Molinari; brothers, Thomas Keenan, John Keenan, George Keenan, and Edward Keenan; and daughter, Janet Christie.

Therese was survived by her children: sons, Roy, Jr. (wife: Brenda) and Robert Martin (wife: Harlene "deceased"); daughters, Linda Harrison and Kay DeSoiza; grandchildren, Gabrielle Salomon (husband: Pascal), Todd Norbraten (wife: Keri), Jody Martin (wife: J'net), Kristine DeSoiza, Olivia McKelvey (husband: Michael), Tony Talarico (wife: Ashley); Chris Martin (wife: Elizabeth), great grandchildren, Charlotte and Connor Norbraten, Joshua and Faith Salomon, Connor and Kate Martin, Alexis, Victoria, Kennedy and Maddie Martin and Enzo Anthony and Rocco Samuel Talarico.

Therese traveled all over the world prior to settling down in South Florida with her husband Roy Martin, whom was stationed in the Army for over twenty years. Therese had a career working at the Office of the State Attorney in Miami-Dade County under Richard E. Gerstein and Janet Reno. Once retired, in 1990, Therese moved to Port St. Lucie. Therese remained on the Treasure Coast for the remainder of her life with the exception of returning back to Medford, Massachusetts, from 2001 to 2004. Therese was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. At one time, Therese considered becoming a nun, so her catholic religion was always of utmost importance to her and instilled into her children and grandchildren. Therese was a New England Patriot Fan and an even bigger Tom Brady fan. Therese took pride in her children and grandchildren. If you were to ask Therese what her hobby was it would be devotion to her family. Therese was a beautiful, loving, kind, generous, and devoted mother and grandmother and it showed in everything she did and her continued presence in their lives. Therese is now at peace and deeply missed by her family.
