Thomas J. Doyle III, 81, of Palm City, passed away December 21, 2016. He was born in New York, and had been a resident of Florida since 1968 having relocated from his birthplace. He had been an executive with Grumman Aerospace and was the Vice President of the Mohawk OV-1 program, retiring after 36 years in 1993. He was a Navy and Merchant Marine. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Doyle of Palm City; daughter Leslea Eldridge Doyle of Stuart, son Thomas James Doyle IV of Palm City, a stepdaughter Donna Alderman of Vero Beach; and two stepsons Richard Phelps of Cocoa Beach and Jeff Phelps of Port St. Lucie; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date at Holy Redeemer Church in Palm City.
