Thomas J. Egnaczyk, 71, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Kindred Hospital, Riviera Beach, FL.

Born in Syracuse, NY, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 6 years coming from Lantana, FL. He was a resident of Florida for 41 years coming from Kirkville, NY.

During the Vietnam War Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force.

Prior to retirement he had been a golf course superintendent in several golf courses ins South Florida. He also was an avid and proficient golfer.

He was a member of Eagle Marsh Golf and Country Club and was past president of the American Polish Club, Lake Worth, FL.

Survivors include his wife Sylvia Egnaczyk of Port St. Lucie; his daughters, Maureen Green and Tamara Rogers and her husband Michael, all of Lantana; his sons Scott Allen and his wife Amber of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Brian Allen and his wife Kimberly of Crystal River, FL; his brother, Lawrence Egnaczyk and his wife Linda of Fayetteville, NY; his sisters, Rose Gilbert and her husband Robert of Cleveland, NY and Marie Egnaczyk of Sebastian, FL and ten grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with military honors provided by the Patrick Air Force Base, Base Honor Guard. Inurnment will be in South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
