Thomas A. Stout Jr., 58, of Palm City, FL passed away July 8, 2016. Our beloved son, brother and uncle succumbed to a rare terminal disease, fronto-temporal degeneration (FTD) and ALS. He was born in Lake Charles, LA and had been a resident of Palm City, FL since 2014, having relocated from Mobile, AL. As part of an Air Force family, Tommy lived all over while growing up. His high school days were spent in Ankara, Turkey and the Washington, DC area. After graduating from the University of South Alabama, Tom served his county in the Army for 6 years. Returning to Mobile, AL after his service, he jumped into video production, moving making and directing. He was co-owner of a video production studio. Tommy was a long time practitioner of martial arts, having earned multiple black belts. Tom was a giving and caring person who touched the lives of many, especially those in the film production industry. He moved to south Florida to be near his parents and sister for support during his illness. He was known for his playful nature, his sharp wit, his kind heart, his creative and logical mind, and his love of action movies and dogs.
He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
He is survived by his parents, Kitty and Tom Stout Sr. of Stuart, FL; sisters, Madrienne Stout Crow (Patrick) of Stuart, FL; and Christine Stout Thomas (Michael) of Greeley, CO; and nephew Dorian Thomas Esq. of New York, NY.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, in Palm City, FL.
Inurnment will take place at a later date at South Florida National Cemetery.
