IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Timothy E.
Bryan
March 16, 1944 – July 3, 2021
Timothy E. Bryan, 77, passed away peacefully in his Palm City, FL home, surrounded by his loving family on July 3, 2021. He was born in Westbrook, ME on March 16 th , 1944. He was the son of William W. and (Mary) Jane Bryan.
He graduated from Westbrook High School, and then went on to earn his bachelor's degree from the University of Maine at Orono. Following college, Tim served in the U.S. Army as a 1 st Lieutenant in the 101 st Airborne Division as a canine handler and instructor. He did one tour in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star in recognition of his exemplary service. He was a true patriot who took great pride in serving his country.
In addition to being a Patriot, he was also a great teacher and a born leader. During his adult life and career, Tim was always educating others; whether it was in a classroom of 5 th grade students, or on an international stage in front of thousands of fellow entrepreneurs and business owners, teaching and encouraging them to chase their dreams. Tim was driven to help others achieve. While people would consider his life marked by financial success and the respect and admiration of so many, he would say that the greatest success and joy in his life was his family, and in knowing that all his children and their spouses have a saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Tim was a man of strength, wisdom and character whose legacy will continue for multiple generations through the many invaluable lessons that he taught to his family and to the thousands of people that he coached and mentored during his lifetime.
Tim is pre-deceased by his father, William W. Bryan; mother, Jane Bryan; brother, James Bryan and granddaughter Cassidy Lynn Phoebus.
He is survived by his three children; son, Dean David Bryan and wife Brenda Ann Bryan; daughter, Denise Bryan Spugnardi and husband R. Scott Spugnardi; daughter, Kristen Bryan Phoebus and husband J. Bryan Phoebus; brothers, David Bryan and Thomas Bryan; Aunt, Marie Antoinette Knox; sister-in-law, Terry Bryan; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
