Obituary of Tommie Mitchell

Tommie Mitchell, 87, of Stuart, FL, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Martin Medical Center, Stuart.

Born in Georgia, he had bee a resident of Martin County for 55 years.

Prior to retiring he was the owner/operator of a lawn maintenance company.

He had been a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Palm City. He enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eunice Kay Mitchell of Stuart; his daughters, Bonnie Behrle and her husband Lee of Stuart, Cherry Miller and her husband Keith of Jensen Beach, FL and Christal Hicks of Orlando; his sons, Thomas Mitchell and his wife Sharon of Stuart, Jerry Mitchell and his wife Christina of Palm City, FL and Michael Mitchell and his wife Mary of Stuart; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with a funeral service at 11:00 AM with Rev. L.C. Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
