Obituary of Troy Payne
Troy Earl Payne, 71, of Okeechobee, died May 12, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Lake Village, Arkansas. He moved to Port St. Lucie in 1990 from San Jose, CA and was living most recently in Okeechobee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the owner of tree service. Troy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Okeechobee.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Gonzalez of Stuart, FL; sons, Jerry Payne of Sunnyvale, CA, Steve Payne of Morgan Hill, CA and John Payne of Fernandina Beach, FL, ; brother, Paul Payne of Springdale, AR; sisters, Helen Payne and Diane Brooks, both of Okeechobee; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 am at Forest Hills Funeral Home Palm City Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 9:30 am at the funeral home with Paul Payne officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
