Valeria Picano 89, of Port Saint lucie passed away peacefully on January 14,2020 at home. She was born on April 17,1930 in Caria Italy and resided in Sterling Heights Michigan before retiring here to the Treasure Coast of Florida. She was a loving wife and mother and also a devoted Catholic by faith. She was a longtime employee who retired from the Ford Motor Company where she worked as a seamstress. She worked there with her late husband Frank Picano, who passed away in April of 2015. In addition to her husband she was pre-deceased by a daughter , Bernadetta D'Aristotile. Valeria is survived by a son John Picano of Port Saint Lucie;a daughter; Maria A. Konopka of Riverview Michigan 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 20,2020 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home from 10 A.M. until the time of services at 11 A.M. in the Forest Hills Chapel. Immediatley following the funeral services, entombment on the ground of Forest Hills Memorial Park will follow.
