Obituary of Victor Fryer
Victor Fryer, 90, of Palm City, passed away June 5, 2009 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. He was born in the Bronx, NY, and had been a resident of Palm City for 7 years and 13 years on Hutchinson Island, coming from La Grangeville and Scarsdale, NY. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. He was the owner and operator of a meat market, Fryer's in Eastchester, NY. He was a member of the Martin Downs Country Club, on the Condo Association Board at Martin Downs, and on the Board at Island Dunes Condominiums.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Croft of New York, NY and Barbara Currier of Cambridge, MA; a son, Lawrence Fryer of South Salem, NY; a brother, George Fryer of Santa Barbara, California; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Fryer in March, 2009.
