Obituary of Vincent Burcella

Vincent Burcella, 89, of Port St. Lucie, formerly of Stuart, passed away May 9, 2015 at his residence. He was born in NY and had been a resident of the Treasure Coast since 1988. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, in which he was a paratrooper, and also of the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves. He had been a Borough Superintendent in the sanitation department in NY before retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church in Stuart.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Olivia Burcella of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Indra Burcella of Vancouver, WA, Gina Burcella McIlveen of NY, NY and Laura Burcella McDonald of NYC, NY; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one more on the way.

Visitation: 12:00PM-2:00PM, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.

Funeral Service: 2:00PM Saturday, in the Chapel.

Entombment will follow in Forest Hills memorial Park, Palm City.
