Obituary of Vincent Schwarze

Vincent P. Schwarze, Sr., 84, was born in Stanfordville, NY on April 21, 1923 and died October 6, 2007 at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, FL.

He moved to Port St. Lucie in December 1989 from Staatsburg, NY.

He retired from the Hyde Park School District in Hyde Park, NY.

Vincent was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hyde Park, NY; the Elks Lodge #2658 of Port St. Lucie; Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #513 of Port St. Lucie.

He was also an 18 year Communicant of Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty (Ulery) Schwarze of Port St. Lucie; son, Vincent P. Schwarze and his wife, Priscilla of Lakeland, FL; daughter, Jane (Schwarze) Coleman and her husband, James of Hyde Park, NY; two brothers, Richard and Paul Schwarze of New York State; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great granddaughter and two step- great granddaughters.

Services: Calling hours will be 4 PM to 8 PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City; there will be an Elks Service at 6 PM and a Vigil Service at 7 PM, during the calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.
