Obituary of Vincenzo Russo
Vincenzo Russo, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died February 28, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice, St. Lucie Hospice House, Fort Pierce.
Born in Sicily, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 20 years coming from Warren, Michigan.
Before retiring, he was an assemblyman for Ford Motor Company in Michigan for 18 years.
He is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Elisabetta Russo; sons Antonino "Tony" Russo and Girolamo "Jerry" Russo; daughter, Anna Dimurcurio and Provvidenza "Enza" DiStefano; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren all of Port St. Lucie and two brothers and six sisters.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and 5:00 to 7:00 PM on March 4, 2012 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel, with Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on March 5, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
