Obituary of Virginia McGlynn
Virginia "Ginny" McGlynn, 86, of Palm City, Florida, died March 8, 2009 at the Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart, FL.
Born in Sioux Fall, South Dakota, she lived in Palm City for 19 years coming from Stamford, Connecticut.
Before retiring, she was a secretary for Combustion Engineering of Stamford, CT. She also was a school librarian in Stamford.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City. She had been a "Pink Lady" at Martin Memorial Medical Center for 10 years, working in the gift shop. She was a member of the bridge club at Sandhill Cove, Palm City.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Yamaguchi of Los Angeles, CA, Mary McGlynn of Palm City, Patricia Aurello of Stamford, CT, Colleen Dorsman and Ginger DeLeo, both of New York, NY and 11 grandchildren.
She was prceded in death by her husband William J. McGlynn.
SERVICES: A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on March 11, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
