It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Vivian DeVito, who left this world on Nov 1, 2023. She was a remarkable woman, cherished by her family and friends, and her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.

Vivian was born in Brooklyn, NY to Joseph Monaco and Vita Virzi-Monaco on March 28, 1945. Vivian brought warmth, love, and an exquisite touch to everything she did, especially her passion for cooking. Her kitchen was not just a place to prepare meals; it was a sanctuary where she pored her love and creativity into every dish. The aromas of her homecooked meals filled our home with a sense of comfort and togetherness.
Vivian was more than just a talented cook; she was the heart of our family. Her laughter was infectious, her advice was wise, and her love was unconditional. Her love touched the lives of all that had the privilege of knowing her.

Vivian was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother Nicky. Vivian was a loving wife of 59 years and survived by husband Joseph DeVito, son Joseph DeVito Jr. and wife Gina, Daughter Gina Shumilla and husband Mark, son Christopher DeVito and wife
Leslie and seven grandchildren who she proclaimed to be "The Best in The World".

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm, on Monday, November 6th at Forest Hills Palm City Chapel, Palm City. Mass service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 7th at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.
