Obituary of Vivian Rosmarin

Vivian Marguerite Graf Rosmarin, 85, passed away February 7, 2012. She moved to Stuart with her family from Hamilton, Ohio in 1956, where she lived until 1968, and again from 1990 until her death. Vivian was a Girl Scout leader when her daughters were young and a frequent substitute teacher in the Martin County School system from 1964-1968. From 1968-1990 she worked at Surgery & Gynecology in Columbus, Ohio as Office Manager and helped patients with their insurance claims. Vivian enjoyed helping people, as well as sewing, knitting, crafts, swimming, oranges, playing cards and other games, and her Bible study group at Stuart Congregational Church, where she taught Sunday school for the younger children for many years. She is known in many circles around the country for her hand-knit slippers. She is survived by all five of her children and eleven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert P. Rosmarin and brother, Arthur S Graf. Services will be at 11 am Monday, February 13 at Stuart Congregational Church, 3110 SE Aster Lane, Stuart, with a viewing at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Rd., Palm City from 3-5 pm Sunday, February 12.
