Obituary of Wallace Lamb
Wallace Wally Frank Lamb, 83, died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at his home in Stuart.
Born in Chicago, IL, he moved to the Treasure Coast in 1972, coming from Lake Worth where he had resided since 1927.
He was an electrician for 60 years and was president of I. B. E. W., Local 323 of West Palm Beach for 20 years.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his sons, Ralph Lamb of Port St. Lucie; Dennis Lamb of West Palm Beach; Curtis Lamb of Holgate, OH; daughter, Linda Wagner of North Carolina; brothers, Howard L. Lamb of Okeechobee and Thurmon Lamb of West Palm Beach; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren..
He was preceded in death by his wife, Flossie Lamb; daughter, Betty DeLong; and sister, Shirley Griffin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: Visitation will be at 10 AM to 12 Noon, Friday, July 6, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home. Services will be at 12 Noon, Friday, July 6, 2007 at the funeral home with Chaplain Al LaBrec of Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park with military honors provided by U. S. Navy.
