Obituary of Walter Braider
Walter A. Braider, 83, of Hobe Sound, died April 27, 2013 at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He had been a resident of the Treasure Coast for 15 years, having spent the last 11 in Hobe Sound, having moved from Long Island, New York. He had been the owner and operator of L&W Shuttle Service in Hobe Sound. He was a member of the Martin County Golf Club in Stuart.
He is survived by his companion of 21 years, Laura Van Wallendael of Hobe Sound, son, Walter Braider Jr. of NY; daughters, Patricia Bernott, Barbara Braider and Mary Ann Braider all of NY and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank Braider Jr and John Braider.
A graveside memorial service will be 11:00am, May 16, 2013 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City.
