Walter H. Kamp's Obituary
Walter H. Kamp Jr., 88, of Tamarac, FL, passed away on January 1, 2017 at the Florida Medical Center, Lauderhill, FL.
Born in Oceanside, NY he had been a resident of Tamarac for 23 years and had been a Florida resident for 40 years.
During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Air Force.
Before retiring he was the comptroller for Litton Industries in New York City.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joyce Kamp; his sons, Walter H. Kamp III and his wife Jane of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Glenn R. Kamp and his wife Kathy and Bruce D. Kamp and his wife Victoria all of Keller, TX; his brother, Richard A. Kamp of Chattanooga, TN; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City, FL. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow immediately in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
