Wanda Smitka Glemser, age 97, of Stuart, Florida passed away on March 17, 2023.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Stanley and Sofia (Matyja) Smitka and wife of the late Carl Glemser who she shared 55 years of marriage. Wanda worked as manager for Bayard's Chocolate House in Pennsauken, NJ for many years. She was a member and servant of the Lord at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Brant Beach, New Jersey where she volunteered for many years at the Parish's gift shop, women's guild and outreach programs. She was always giving back to her community in any way that she could and used her God given talents to help those in need.

She enjoyed sewing therapeutic heart pillows for cardiac patients at Deborah Hospital in Burlington County, New Jersey. Wanda loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, she enjoyed having her family close to her, and she kept a very clean home. In 2012 Wanda relocated to Stuart, Florida to live near her daughter Peggy and son-in-law, Bob. Her true passion was her faith in God and the love of her family and friends.

Wanda is survived by her daughter Margaret (Robert) Yago, son Eric (Jeanne) Glemser; grandchildren Douglas Geserick, Jennifer Moraw, Nancy Adams, Beverly Armstrong, Julia Bacso, Christine Ammon, Alexis Dickson and Madison Glemser; great-grandchildren Jeremiah
and Jessica Armstrong, Robert, Ryan and Katy Adams, Kara, Kimber and Koree Moraw, Kyle and Berkeley Bacso, Carter and Evan Dickson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Smitka, and sisters Annie Duda, Jenny Merker
and Sophia Zagurski, daughter Charlotte Geserick, son-in-law Jim Geserick and son Robert Glemser.

Celebration of Life Mass will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Brant Beach, NJ at 11 am, followed by the burial of ashes at St. Mary's Cemetery in Barnegat, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted in Wanda's name to her favorite charitable
foundation - St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
