Obituary of White Shore
White McWilliams Shore, Jr., 79, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at his home. He was born in East Brady, PA. He was originally from Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and had been a permanent resident of Palm City for 16 years. Before retiring, he had been a successful commercial real estate broker in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia leasing many of the prominent high rise office buildings in those cities.
He was a US Army veteran and member of Palm City Presbyterian Church, Harbour Ridge Yacht and Country Club and Aronimink Golf Club, where he served as a past President and Chairman of the 1997 U.S. Junior Amateur.
White lived life to its fullest, whether traveling, playing golf, joyfully spending time with his family or rooting on his beloved Pitt Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be honored and remembered as a kind, caring and generous man who called everyone "my friend". He was truly one of a kind.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Judith Shore and his sons, Steven Shore and his wife Amanda of Waxhaw, NC and Scott Shore and his wife Denise of Denver, CO and grandchildren Madeline, Preston, Daniel and Dean. He was preceded in death by his brother George R. Shore and parents White M. and Dorothy R. Shore.
SERVICES: There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the Palm City Presbyterian Church chapel.
